बंगाल में चुनाव के दौरान आज तृणमूल कांग्रेस को एक और झटका लगा. रासबिहारी विधानसभा सीट से तृणमूल कांग्रेस के उम्मीदवार और मौजूदा विधायक देबाशीष कुमार के घर और ऑफिस पर आज इनकम टैक्स की रेड हुई. इससे पहले ED भी उनसे एक बार पूछताछ कर चुकी है. देबाशीष कुमार पर गैर-कानूनी तरीके से ज़मीन पर कब्जा करने का आरोप है. इनकम टैक्स के अधिकारियों ने देबाशीष कुमार के साथ-साथ तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता कुमार साहा के घर की भी तलाशी ली, वो भी ज़मीन घोटाले के आरोपी हैं.
The Trinamool Congress suffered another setback today amidst the ongoing elections in Bengal. Income Tax officials conducted raids today at the residence and office of Debasish Kumar—the Trinamool Congress candidate for the Rashbehari Assembly seat and the sitting MLA. Prior to this, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also questioned him on one occasion. Debasish Kumar stands accused of illegally encroaching upon land. Along with Debasish Kumar, Income Tax officials also searched the residence of Trinamool Congress leader Kumar Saha, who is likewise accused in a land scam.
