Stringer Dispatch: Victims’ families urge action after 9 killed in Türkiye school shooting #CGTN

On April 15, a 14-year-old student shot at least nine people dead, including eight of his fellow pupils, and wounded more than a dozen others at a middle school in southeastern Türkiye, officials said.
CGTN Stringer in Türkiye captured scenes of mourning and interviewed local residents. A relative of one of the victims said that another child in the family has been deeply traumatized, refusing to go to school or even stay alone in his room. The relative pleaded with the government to strengthen school security measures to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.
