Canada and the U.S. have still not settled their prolonged trade war ahead of the upcoming review of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). Both Canadian and American negotiators have said they will blow past the CUSMA review deadline of July 1.

“It’s not a case of the United States dictates the terms, we have a negotiation, we can come to a mutually successful outcome,” Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Wednesday.
