International couple in China builds a home for children of the hills
For nearly 30 years, British-born John and his Chinese wife Tang Chongyan have made Suzhou their home. After retirement, they turned their house into a home for children from remote mountains. A girl with a disability named Wang Mingdi, unable to walk properly for years, was brought to Suzhou for surgeries. Today, she stands tall and works at their charity center. “I would be very happy to spend the rest of my life in #China,” John says. Their home became the home many never had. #MyChinaDays
