Trump says China ‘very happy’ with US opening Strait of Hormuz & Xi will give him ‘big fat hug’
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (Apr 15) claimed that China was “very happy” that the US was reopening the Strait of Hormuz. “I am doing it for them, also, and the world,” he said, adding that he expects President Xi Jinping will give him a “big, fat, hug” when he visits him in Beijing. “We are working together smartly, and very well,” he posted.
In an earlier TV interview, Trump revealed that he wrote to President Xi a letter not to give Iran weapons and Xi responded that China was not supplying arms to Tehran. #trump #usiranwar #china
