बंगाल चुनाव में पहले चरण का चुनाव प्रचार ख़त्म हो गया है. चुनाव आयोग ने 48 घंटे का साइलेंस पीरियड लगा दिया है. पहले चरण की वोटिंग से पहले चुनाव आयोग ने अपना चाबुक चलाया है. बंगाल में पहले चरण की सभी 152 विधानसभा सीटों पर शाम 6 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे के बीच बाइक या स्कूटर चलाने की इजाज़त नहीं होगी. बाइक रैलियों पर भी पूरी तरह प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है. दिन के समय बाइक पर पीछे बैठकर सवारी करने की भी इजाज़त नहीं होगी.

Across all 152 assembly constituencies going to polls in the first phase in Bengal, riding bikes or scooters will be prohibited between 6 PM and 6 AM. Bike rallies have also been completely banned. Furthermore, riding as a pillion passenger on a bike during the day will not be permitted.
