Skydiver crashes into scoreboard before Virginia Tech game
A parachutist slammed into the scoreboard at Lane Stadium at Virginia Tech on Saturday and had to be rescued by the Blacksburg Fire Department, video from the stadium shows.

The school confirmed the parachutist was “checked by medical personnel on site and was treated and released.”

A statement from Virginia Tech said: “one of three parachutists was blown off course and got stuck on our stadium scoreboard. First responders from Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg quickly responded and within 15 minutes had him safely on the ground.”
