Canada Post lists 1st 136,000 addresses to lose door-to-door delivery
Canada Post has announced 136,000 addresses in 13 communities will no longer receive door-to-door delivery. They will instead get their mail through community mailboxes, starting later this year.
The Crown corporation plans to eliminate all household delivery over the next five years, part of larger restructuring efforts to save money and stay financially viable under crushing debt.
