CNA Japan’s PM says she will resign if ruling bloc fails to win majority in Lower House election

Leaders of Japan’s seven political parties have held their first debate, ahead of the country’s Lower House election on 8th of February. They clashed over a range of issues for more than two hours, with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi repeating her promise to step down, if her ruling coalition fails to win a majority. Michiyo Ishida reports.
