पंजाब में भीषण बाढ़ से अब तक 30 मौतें हो चुकी हैं और 2.56 लाख से ज्यादा लोग प्रभावित हैं. 1,300 से ज्यादा गांवों और 96,000 हेक्टेयर खेतीबाड़ी को नुकसान पहुंचा है. NDRF, आर्मी और पुलिस राहत कार्यों में जुटी है. होशियारपुर में हालात गंभीर हैं. सरकार ने स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद कर दिए हैं और मेडिकल कैंपों के जरिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं दी जा रही हैं.

So far 30 people have died and more than 2.56 lakh people have been affected due to the severe floods in Punjab. More than 1,300 villages and 96,000 hectares of agricultural land have been damaged. NDRF, Army and Police are engaged in relief work. The situation in Hoshiarpur is serious. The government has closed schools and colleges and health services are being provided through medical camps.
