कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने CEC पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि सबसे पहले, यह हाइड्रोजन बम नहीं है, बल्कि हाइड्रोजन बम आ रहा है. यह इस देश के युवाओं को यह दिखाने और समझाने की दिशा में एक और मील का पत्थर है कि चुनावों में किस तरह धांधली की जा रही है. राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने के लिए अलग-अलग राज्यों के मोबाइल नंबरों का इस्तेमाल किया गया. राहुल गांधी का दावा है कि जिन बूथों पर कांग्रेस जीतती दिख रही थी, उन्हें निशाना बनाया गया.

देशभर में सुर्खियां बटोरने वाले दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी स्टूडेंट यूनियन चुनाव में आज 2.75 लाख से अधिक छात्र मतदान करेंगे. पहली शिफ्ट की वोटिंग शुरू हो चुकी है. छात्र कॉलेजों 52 कॉलेज व केंद्रों में ईवीएम के लिए 195 पोलिंग बूथ पर उम्मीदवारों के लिए वोट डाल रहे हैं.

बिहार में विधानसभा चुनाव होना है तो उस लिहाज से यह मीटिंग अहम मानी जा रही है. सूत्रों की मानें तो मुलाकात के दौरान दोनों नेताओं के बीच बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव पर चर्चा हुई है.
