जब वे महज 9 साल के थे, तब तापी नदी में आई बाढ़ के समय उन्होंने फूड स्टॉल लगाकर लोगों की मदद की.
शिक्षा में, पीएम मोदी ने Gujarat University से Political Science में MA की डिग्री हासिल की.
वैश्विक स्तर पर भी उनका नाम सम्मानित है. सऊदी अरब, रूस, UAE, फ्रांस और मॉरीशस जैसे देशों ने उन्हें अपने सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान से नवाज़ा.
