Next-Gen GST Reform: पेट्रोल-डीजल कारों पर GST कम, जानें नई दरें | GST New Rate | Zee Business
The GST Council has announced a historic reform under the Next-Gen GST structure, reducing tax rates on cars, bikes, and three-wheelers. Earlier, most automobiles attracted 28% GST, but now the rate has been slashed to just 18%. Petrol, Petrol Hybrid, LPG, and CNG cars up to 1200cc and 4000mm length will be taxed at 18%. Similarly, Diesel and Diesel Hybrid cars up to 1500cc and 4000mm, three-wheelers (auto rickshaws), motorcycles up to 350cc, and goods transport vehicles will also fall under the 18% GST slab.
