The high-altitude manoeuvre exercise “Ram Prahar,” conducted by the Indian Army’s Western Command, has entered a crucial phase of its operations. The exercise, conducted under realistic combat conditions in the rugged Himalayan terrain, aims to strengthen the Indian Army’s tactical preparedness, technical proficiency, and coordinated operations capability in high-altitude areas. This multi-faceted exercise involves active participation of mountain warfare units, special forces, artillery, aviation resources, and communications units.

इंडियन आर्मी की वेस्टर्न कमांड की हाई-एल्टीट्यूड मैनूवर एक्सरसाइज़ “राम प्रहार” अपने ऑपरेशन्स के एक ज़रूरी फेज़ में पहुँच गई है। यह एक्सरसाइज़ हिमालय के ऊबड़-खाबड़ इलाकों में असली लड़ाई के हालात में की जाती है। इसका मकसद इंडियन आर्मी की टैक्टिकल तैयारी, टेक्निकल काबिलियत और हाई-एल्टीट्यूड इलाकों में मिलकर काम करने की काबिलियत को मज़बूत करना है। इस कई तरह की एक्सरसाइज़ में माउंटेन वॉरफेयर यूनिट्स, स्पेशल फोर्सेज़, आर्टिलरी, एविएशन रिसोर्सेज़ और कम्युनिकेशन यूनिट्स की एक्टिव हिस्सेदारी शामिल है।
