War on Iran: Trump signals possible new round of direct talks with Tehran
The US president says ceasefire talks with Iran could restart this week. Donald Trump says delegations could reconvene over the next two days, likely in Islamabad, although there is as yet no confirmation from Tehran. Pakistani officials say they are pushing for a 45-day truce extension, although the word from Mr Trump is that he does not expect a further draw-out of the existing two-week ceasefire.
