जामनगर में आज वनतारा यूनिवर्सिटी की नींव रखी गई..ये दुनिया की पहली ऐसी यूनिवर्सिटी है जो खास तौर पर वन्यजीव संरक्षण, वेटरनरी साइंस और इको सिस्टम मैनेजमेंट की पढ़ाई और रिसर्च पर केंद्रित है ये यूनिवर्सिटी 3500 एकड़ में फैले वनतारा रेस्क्यू सेंटर के साथ मिलकर काम करेगी इस यूनिवर्सिटी का उद्देश्य करुणा और ज्ञान के साथ वन्यजीवों की रक्षा करना और इस क्षेत्र में कुशल पेशेवर यानी एक्सपर्ट्स तैयार करना है ये सिर्फ एक यूनिवर्सिटी नहीं बल्कि ये वाइल्डलाइफ बायोलॉजी, वेटेरिनरी साइंस और कंजर्वेशन पॉलिसी जैसे विषयों पर प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग भी देगी आज इसके शिलान्यास के दौरान रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन मुकेश अंबानी भी मौजूद थे जामनगर में यूनिवर्सिटी की नींव पूजा की गई वनतारा यूनिवर्सिटी का मेन फोकस एनिमल वेलफेयर, साइंटिफिक एडवांसमेंट और वाइल्डलाइफ कंजर्वेशन के भविष्य के लिए काम करना है !
Today, the foundation stone for Vantara University was laid in Jamnagar. This is the world’s first university dedicated specifically to education and research in wildlife conservation, veterinary science, and ecosystem management. The university will operate in conjunction with the Vantara Rescue Centre, which spans across 3,500 acres. Its objective is to protect wildlife with compassion and knowledge, and to cultivate skilled professionals—or experts—in this field. More than just a university, it will also provide practical training in subjects such as wildlife biology, veterinary science, and conservation policy. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani was present today during the foundation stone laying ceremony held in Jamnagar. The primary focus of Vantara University is to work towards the future of animal welfare, scientific advancement, and wildlife conservation.
