US blockade on Strait of Hormuz: For better or for worse?
At least two tankers headed for the Strait of Hormuz on Monday turned around soon after the US blockade began, the AP quoted vessel tracker Marine Traffic. Iran has responded with threats on all ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, taking aim at US-allied countries. Talks aimed at permanently ending the conflict failed to reach an agreement this past weekend. Although, mediators such as Pakistan are working to bring negotiations back on the table.
