UK PM Keir Starmer Hails ‘Biggest Ever Trade Mission Ever Sent To India’ During Mumbai Visit
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described his two-day visit as ‘the biggest trade mission ever sent to India’ while talking at a business event in Mumbai on October 8. Britain and India signed a free trade agreement in July during a visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sealing a deal to cut tariffs on goods from textiles to whisky and cars, and allow more market access for businesses.
