UAE Bomb Blast | “Situation Is Tough But…”: Deepak Mittal, Indian Envoy In UAE To NDTV #NDTV

Mittal said the situation remains challenging but emphasised that there is no panic among Indians in the UAE. He noted that the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi activated 24/7 helplines after airspace closures and has been coordinating with airlines and local authorities to ensure assistance and safe travel for Indian nationals.

The envoy also said the Indian community has expressed confidence in the UAE government and its alert systems. He added that the crisis is unprecedented for residents in the UAE and that Indian authorities remain in constant touch with local officials. He also confirmed that Narendra Modi spoke with the UAE President, while External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar held discussions with his UAE counterpart to coordinate efforts.
