Matthew Kim (BM) and Lee Sung Jin talked about working alongside Youn Yuh-jung and Song Kang-ho in “Beef” season two. BM said that his real life nerves working with Youn translated into their characters’ relationship, and Lee called putting Youn and Song in their first-ever scene together “crazy.” Lee also said that while filming in Korea, director Bong Joon Ho made a surprise appearance on set. “That is truly something I’ll never beat, because it’s all my idols in one place.”
