BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) took a symbolic ride on a Telangana state bus to protest the Congress government’s recent fare hike for men, students, and senior citizens. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, KTR accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government of “cheating the public” by raising fares while maintaining free rides for women – a key Congress poll promise. He demanded a rollback of the fare hike and questioned the government’s alleged move toward privatizing the Road Transport Corporation (RTC).
