Runaway wolf from South Korean zoo recaptured after 9-day search
A wolf that escaped from O-World zoo in Daejeon, South Korea, was recaptured on Friday (Apr 17) after nine days on the run, ending a search that gripped the public. The two-year-old male wolf, named Neukgu, was spotted near a highway interchange about 4km from the zoo.

Following a health check, officials said Neukgu’s vital signs were normal, although veterinarians found and removed a fishing hook from his stomach. #southkorea #southkoreanews
