Putin Welcomes North Korean Foreign Minister During Diplomatic Visit to Moscow | Russia | #shorts
Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui in Moscow on Monday, with footage showing the two shaking hands before starting negotiations.
“It is a great pleasure to see you. Please convey my best wishes to the [DPRK] State Affairs Commission Chair Kim Jong-un. We talked in detail in Beijing about our relations and prospects for development. Everything is going according to plan. Please convey my best wishes to him,” Putin said.
In turn, the DPRK foreign minister said that she would convey Putin’s greetings to Kim Jong-un and thanked the leader for the warm welcome.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and presidential aide Yuri Ushakov also attended the meeting on the Russian side.
Choe Son-hui arrived in Moscow on October 27. She also held talks with Lavrov and during their meeting, the Russian foreign minister thanked the DPRK for its support and praised the country’s army that fought in the Kursk region to drive out Ukrainian forces.
The DPRK’s Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Choe Son-hui would also visit Belarus.
