On April 12, the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee unveiled a policy package to promote cross-Strait communication and cooperation following the six-day visit to the Chinese mainland by Chinese Kuomintang party Chairperson Cheng Li-wun. The package is expected to boost industrial cooperation and people-to-people exchanges across the Taiwan Strait.
