Kolkata News: पुलिस स्टेशन के बाहर BJP-TMC कार्यकर्ता में झड़प | Election Violence | TMC BJP Clash #IndiaTV

एक तरफ सियासी दल प्रचार के जरिए वोटर्स को साधने में लगे हैं..तो वहीं बंगाल चुनाव में फर्स्ट फेज की वोटिंग से पहले सोमवार को कोलकाता में बड़ा बवाल हो गया… पोर्ट विधानसभा क्षेत्र के हुसैन शाह रोड पर बीजेपी कैंडिडेट राकेश सिंह की पब्लिक मीटिंग के दौरान.. तृणमूल कार्यकर्ताओं ने जय बांग्ला के नारे लगाए.. तो बीजेपी ने बदले में जय श्री राम के नारे लगाए। इसके बाद तृणमूल कांग्रेस और बीजेपी के बीच बहस शुरू हो गई और हंगामा हो गया। इसके बाद तृणमूल और बीजेपी दोनों ने इकबालपुर पुलिस स्टेशन के सामने प्रोटेस्ट करना शुरू कर दिया। दोनों पार्टियों को हटाने के लिए पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज किया और भीड़ को तितर-बितर किया। पुलिस ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस और बीजेपी दोनों पार्टियों के कई लोगों को डिटेन कर लिया है।

During a public meeting held by BJP candidate Rakesh Singh on Hussain Shah Road in the Port Assembly constituency, Trinamool workers raised slogans of “Jai Bangla,” prompting the BJP supporters to respond with slogans of “Jai Shri Ram.” This exchange escalated into a heated argument between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP, leading to a chaotic scene. Subsequently, both the Trinamool and BJP factions began staging protests outside the Iqbalpur Police Station. To disperse the crowds and clear the area, the police resorted to a *lathi-charge* (baton charge). The police have detained several individuals from both the Trinamool Congress and the BJP in connection with the incident.
