दिवाली पर योगी सरकार ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए खोला ख़ज़ाना, 14 लाख 82 हज़ार कर्मचारियों को छह हज़ार 908 रुपये तक का बोनस मिलेगा. वेतन मैट्रिक्स लेवल 8 तक के कर्मचारियों को मिलेगा बोनस. राज्य सरकार के ख़ज़ाने से 1 हज़ार 22 करोड़ रुपये ख़र्च होंगे.
On Diwali, the Yogi government opened its coffers for government employees. 1.482 million employees will receive a bonus of up to ₹6,908. Employees up to Pay Matrix Level 8 will receive the bonus. ₹1,220 million will be spent from the state government’s coffers.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) is furious over the order to check women wearing burqas. It wrote a letter to the Election Commission expressing its objection and demanding the order be withdrawn. The Samajwadi Party called the checking of women wearing burqas against guidelines and said, “This is an attempt to target a specific class of women.”
