तमिलनाडु विधानसभा चुनाव में भी रिकॉर्डतोड़ वोटिंग हुई… 38 जिलों की 234 सीटों पर रिकॉर्ड 85.01 परसेंट वोट डाले गए… करुर जिले में सबसे ज्यादा 92.52 और कन्याकुमारी में सबसे कम 75.58 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई… सलेम में 90.43, इरोड में 90, नमक्कल में 89.71 परसेंट और चेन्नई में 83.42 परसेंट पोलिंग हुई… पिछली विधानसभा चुनाव में तमिलनाडु में 77.02 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई थी… लेकिन इस बार वोटर्स ने सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए… पिछली चुनाव की तुलना में 8 परसेंट ज्यादा वोटिंग हुई.. इसके पीछे स्पेशल इंटेसिव रिवीजन को सबसे बड़ा फैक्टर माना जा रहा है.. एसआईआर की वजह से मृतक, डुप्लीकेट और दूसरे राज्यों में शिफ्ट हो चुके वोटर्स के नाम कट चुके हैं, इसलिए पोलिंग परसेंटेंज अचानक बढ़ गया…

Record-breaking voter turnout was witnessed in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections as well. A record 85.01 percent of votes were cast across 234 seats spanning 38 districts. Karur district recorded the highest turnout at 92.52 percent, while Kanyakumari saw the lowest at 75.58 percent. Polling figures stood at 90.43 percent in Salem, 90 percent in Erode, 89.71 percent in Namakkal, and 83.42 percent in Chennai. In the previous Assembly elections, Tamil Nadu had recorded a voter turnout of 77.02 percent; however, this time around, voters shattered all previous records. The turnout marked an increase of 8 percent compared to the previous election. The “Special Intensive Revision” process is considered to be the primary factor behind this surge. Thanks to the SIR initiative, the names of deceased voters, duplicate entries, and voters who have relocated to other states were removed from the rolls, resulting in a sudden rise in the polling percentage.
