After a day of pomp and pageantry with the Royal family in Windsor, the agenda is turning back to politics on Thursday for U.S. President Donald Trump’s second state visit to the UK.
The Republican leader will meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Chequers, the Labour leader’s country retreat, where they will hold a press conference on Thursday.
The leaders signed a “Tech Prosperity Deal” prior to their press conference and are expected to share details on the new agreement related to jobs, investment in artificial intelligence, and nuclear energy.
Since his arrival in the UK, Trump has faced mass scrutiny, with citizens protesting the visit and protest groups projecting images of him and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on landmarks across the nation.
