Global News16-year-old killed in “brazen” shooting inside Hamilton mall, 14-year-old suspect wanted

Police in Hamilton, Ont., are searching for a 14-year-old suspect accused of shooting and killing 16-year-old Nabil Askafe on Friday night inside Jackson Square Mall.

Hamilton police are waiting for judicial authorization to release the teen’s name and photo. He is facing a second-degree murder charge.

They’re also looking to speak to another suspect who was with the 14-year-old when they allegedly pulled the trigger.
