The 139th Canton Fair opened Wednesday in Guangzhou, southern China’s Guangdong Province, drawing a surge of global buyers, up 20% year on year, as they seek innovative products to expand their offerings.

The event spans 1.55 million square meters, with 75,700 booths and over 32,000 participating companies.

Running through May 5, the fair is held in three phases focusing on advanced manufacturing, quality home life and better living.
