U.S. President Donald Trump will discuss the possible supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Friday but the surprise announcement of a new U.S.-Russian summit cast doubt over the prospect. The White House had seemed in recent days to be leaning toward granting Zelenskiy fresh support and increasingly frustrated with Putin. But Thursday, Trump’s relationship with Putin seemed to have improved after a more than two-hour phone conversation about Russia’s war in Ukraine.
