Chief US diplomat Marco Rubio was due in Israel on Thursday, the latest Washington official to visit as President Donald Trump’s administration kept up efforts to cement the fragile truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. His visit comes after the International Court of Justice ruled on Wednesday that Israel has not proven its claims that a significant part of the UN’s relief agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) are members of Hamas.
