France tries Bulgarians over defacing Holocaust memorial in Russia-linked case • FRANCE 24 English
Four Bulgarians are to go on trial in France on October 29, accused of desecrating a Jewish memorial with red handprints in 2024. Prosecutors think the act may have been foreign interference linked to Russia. The vandalism was staged during heightened tensions in France over the war between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas that broke out in October 2023.
