Iran launched its first solo military drills since the June war with Israel, aiming to project strength after suffering major losses. State media said navy forces fired missiles and drones at sea targets during the “Sustainable Power 1404” exercise. Israel’s 12-day air war devastated Iran’s defences, destroyed key nuclear facilities, and killed senior commanders. Much of Iran’s ballistic arsenal was also damaged. Tehran said it was prepared to counter future attacks as tensions with Israel and the US remained high.
