Eyewitness News ABC7NY Good Samaritans rescue family including baby after car flips in crash

Several Good Samaritans sprang into action to rescue a family, including a baby, stuck inside a flipped car in South Florida on Sunday, April 19.

This footage captured by Lucson Philogene shows Philogene coming across the dramatic scene while driving home from work in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.

Philogene said that he saw the smaller car in the footage run a light and smash into the red car, which flipped over on the street with the baby, grandmother, and father still inside.

Several witnesses could be seen rushing to the vehicle and pulling out the trapped family members. Police could be seen arriving on the scene shortly after and attending to the family.

Storyful reached out to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for comment but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
