Electronics retailers see rise in use of Climate Vouchers for more efficient products
It is Earth Day and CNA kicks off its coverage with how Singapore households are using Climate Vouchers to buy more efficient devices. Electronics retailers say they have seen a 20 per cent jump in the use of the vouchers for energy- and water-saving products since the war on Iran began. This is as electricity prices rise in Singapore. Latest figures from the National Environment Agency show that as of end-January, about 80 per cent of vouchers have been claimed and around S$250 million used. Claudia Lim reports.
