संसद के विशेष सत्र के दूसरे दिन महिला आरक्षण से जुड़े तीनों बिल जो लोकसभा में पेश किए गए थे उन पर चर्चा हुई. नेता विपक्ष राहुल गांधी भी लोकसभा में बोले. बिल पास कराना सरकार के लिए आसान नहीं है. बिल पास कराने के लिए दो-तिहाई बहुमत चाहिए. विपक्ष पहले ही साफ कर चुका है कि वो महिला आरक्षण बिल के खिलाफ नहीं है लेकिन सरकार इसमें डिलिमिटेशन बिल को जोड़कर लाना चाहती है.
On the second day of the special session of Parliament, the three bills related to women’s reservation—which had been introduced in the Lok Sabha—were discussed. Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi also spoke in the Lok Sabha. Passing these bills will not be an easy task for the government. A two-thirds majority is required to pass the bills. The Opposition has already made it clear that it is not opposed to the Women’s Reservation Bill; however, the government intends to introduce it by linking it with the Delimitation Bill.
