CNA WAR ON IRAN: Freight forwarders see 20% dip in profit amid surge in costs

Freight forwarders in Singapore say they are seeing profits fall by about 20% as fuel and freight costs surge amid the Middle East conflict. In some cases, the costs have doubled. Some shipments are also being rerouted, adding weeks to delivery times as companies steer clear of high-risk areas in the region.
