Southeast Asia’s digital economy is on track to surpass US$300 billion in gross merchandise value – the total value of goods sold – by the end of this year, according to an industry report released on Tuesday (Nov 11). The e-Conomy SEA report by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company also projects that revenues will hit US$135 billion as profitability accelerates across the region.
