CNA REJUVENATING PLAZA SINGAPURA: Shopping malls at Dhoby Ghaut to get S$160m facelift from this year
Plaza Singapura and the office towers beside it are set for a S$160 million upgrade from the third quarter of this year. The work is expected to last until the end of 2028. The buildings will remain fully operational throughout. A spokesperson for the buildings says they are being repositioned into a premier international lifestyle destination for locals and tourists. The works will introduce curated concepts, a renewed tenant mix, as well as nature-inspired spaces. We spoke with Assoc Prof Dianna Chang from the School of Business at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, for her take on the upcoming development.
