चुनाव आयोग ने बंगाल के फ़र्स्ट फ़ेज़ की 152 सीटों पर वोटिंग के फ़ाइनल आंकड़े जारी कर दिए. पहले दौर में बंगाल में 92.88 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई है. 152 सीटों पर कुल तीन करोड़ साठ लाख मतदाता थे. इनमें से तीन करोड़ 34 लाख लोगों ने वोट डाला, वोटिंग में ये उत्साह ऐतिहासिक है. आजादी के बाद अब तक किसी इलेक्शन में इतना भारी मतदान नहीं हुआ.
The Election Commission has released the final voting figures for the 152 seats contested in the first phase in Bengal. In this initial round, Bengal recorded a voter turnout of 92.88 percent. A total of 36 million voters were eligible to cast their ballots across these 152 seats. Of these, 33.4 million people exercised their franchise; this level of enthusiasm in voting is historic. Since independence, no election has ever witnessed such a massive voter turnout.
