Jammu Floods: Red alert after Doda cloudburst triggers flash floods; residential areas at risk
Incessant rainfall leads to a flood-like situation in Jammu. Doda witnessed cloudbursts that triggered flash floods claiming lives of at least three. Water inundated residential areas disrupting daily life of people. Indian Army and SDRF teams commenced rescue operations. IMD issued red alert for several districts in Jammu and Kashmir. The administration advised people to stay away from rivers, canals and issued a flood alert
