India, China reach 10-point deal post Wang Yi-Jaishankar-Doval meet; Trump tariffs may revive RIC?
India and China held the 24th round of boundary talks in New Delhi, marking Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s first visit since the 2020 Galwan clash. The two sides reached a 10-point consensus aimed at maintaining border peace, enhancing cooperation, and reopening traditional trade markets. Agreements also included resuming direct flights, facilitating visas, and supporting pilgrimages to Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. The talks reaffirmed progress since the Kazan summit and emphasized resolving issues through friendly dialogue. The 25th round of boundary talks is scheduled to be hosted by China in 2026, continuing efforts to strengthen India-China relations.
