ANI News Iranian govt’s “one nation, one path” message shutdowns Trump’s regime ‘division’ remark

U.S.-Iran ‘social media’ claims clash continues amid ongoing extended ceasefire with no signs of de-escalation. After, Trump’s remark on ‘unity’ of power structure of the Islamic republic, Tehran sent out clear ‘unity’ message to America. Iran’s leadership said that the nation is united despite the claims made by the U.S. suggesting otherwise. The government officials and leadership shared the same message in a bid to amplify the voice of Iran. Top Iranian negotiator & parliament speaker MB Gahlibaf sent strong message of “One God, one leader, one nation, and one path”. Ghalibaf further stated, “that path being the path to victory for Iran, dearer than life”. The Iranian Government also shared a message of Head of the Judiciary of Iran, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei. All these are the most eminent leaders of Iran with Mojtaba Khamenei being the Supreme Leader. Apart from these leaders, the IRGC, Iran’s military, are holding immense power and is commanded by Iran’s Supreme Leader. Earlier, Trump claimed that there is division within Iran’s leadership, alleging infighting b/w “hardliners” & “moderates” in country’s politics & military. On Tuesday, he announced the extension of ceasefire with Iran, citing the need to allow Tehran’s leadership more time to formulate a unified proposal for negotiations. Trump, in his post, stated that the decision followed concerns over internal divisions within Iran’s government and appeals from international stakeholders.
