Dr Ahmed Al-Farra, the Director of Pediatrics and Maternity at Gaza’s Nasir Hospital, joins Al Jazeera live from Khan Younis. He warned that cases of severe acute malnutrition among children have skyrocketed, with 52 patients in a single day compared to just a handful before. Dr Al-Farra highlighted the dire lack of clean water, outbreaks of waterborne diseases, and the devastating physical and psychological toll on children and families.
Meanwhile, William Schabas, a Professor of International Law at Middlesex University who served as the Chairperson of the Commission of Inquiry into the 2014 Gaza conflict, joins Al Jazeera’s live from London.
