बंगाल में इस बार पहले फेज़ में वोटिंग के सारे पुराने रिकॉर्ड टूट गए. 16 ज़िलों की 152 सीटों पर रिकॉर्डतोड़ 92 परसेंट से ज़्यादा वोटिंग हुई. सबसे ज़्यादा 94.92 परसेंट वोट, साउथ दिनाजपुर ज़िले में पड़े जहां 6 विधानसभा सीटें हैं. कूच बिहार में 94.66 परसेंट, बीरभूम में 93.82 परसेंट, मुर्शिदाबाद में 93 परसेंट, जलपाईगुड़ी में 93.46 परसेंट. वेस्ट मेदिनीपुर में 91.86, झाड़ग्राम में 91.86, बांकुड़ा में 91.52 परसेंट, उत्तर दिनाजपुर में 92.50 परसेंट, मालदा में 92.71 परसेंट, नॉर्थ बंगाल के अलीपुर द्वार में 90.75 परसेंट और पूर्वी मेदिनीपुर में 90.41 परसेंट वोटिंग हुई.

This time in Bengal, all previous voting records were shattered during the first phase. A record-breaking voter turnout of over 92 percent was recorded across 152 seats spanning 16 districts. The highest turnout—94.92 percent—was witnessed in the South Dinajpur district, which comprises six assembly constituencies. The figures stood at 94.66 percent in Cooch Behar, 93.82 percent in Birbhum, 93 percent in Murshidabad, and 93.46 percent in Jalpaiguri. Additionally, voting turnout reached 91.86 percent in West Medinipur and Jhargram, 91.52 percent in Bankura, 92.50 percent in North Dinajpur, 92.71 percent in Malda, 90.75 percent in Alipurduar (North Bengal), and 90.41 percent in East Medinipur.
