A MAGA promise falls flat as Ohio musical instrument plant closes
Workers at Conn Selmer’s Eastlake, Ohio, plant are speaking out against the brass-instrument company’s billionaire owner and investor, John Paulson. Paulson is offshoring nearly all of Eastlake’s output to China, cutting 150 jobs. 

Paulson, a Trump ally who hosted a fundraiser that raised $50.5 million during Trump’s 2024 campaign, once publicly criticized U.S. companies for offshoring jobs.
