प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी अपने पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रमों के कारण रविवार से शुरू हो रहे आसियान शिखर सम्मेलन से संबंधित बैठकों में भाग लेने के लिए संभवत: मलेशिया नहीं जाएंगे। इस मामले की जानकारी रखने वाले अधिकारियों ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी दी। ऐसा बताया जा रहा है कि विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर इन बैठकों में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unlikely to travel to Malaysia to attend meetings related to the ASEAN summit, which begins on Sunday, due to prior engagements, officials familiar with the matter said on Wednesday. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is expected to represent India at the meetings.
