Gold and silver prices slipped slightly in the Indian commodity market (MCX) but remain near their record highs. On Thursday, gold traded at ₹1,06,074 per 10 grams, down by ₹1,121 from the previous close, while silver was at ₹1,22,945 per kg, lower by ₹523. Despite this mild profit booking, both metals are still close to their lifetime peaks of ₹1,07,226 for gold and ₹1,24,259 for silver.
