US forces board tanker in Indian Ocean alleged to be carrying Iranian oil
US forces boarded an oil tanker previously sanctioned for smuggling Iranian crude oil in Asia, said the Pentagon on Tuesday (Apr 21). The tanker, M/T Tifani, was captured in the Bay of Bengal and it was carrying Iranian oil, according to a US defense official. The military will decide in the next four days what to do with the vessel. #usnews #iran
